Crewdoku: an offline-first team scheduling app
An offline-first app that builds a fair multi-week team schedule from your rules with a HiGHS solver compiled to WebAssembly. There are no accounts and no server; everything stays in IndexedDB on your machine.
Crewdoku is an offline-first scheduling app I made in 2026, after I went out on my own. It's an app for one person: a planner builds and runs one company's multi-week team schedule. It's live at crewdoku.8bu.dev.
What it does
You describe the team and who needs to be covered, hit Generate, and get a fair schedule that follows the rules. You can tweak it by hand and export it to CSV. There are no accounts and no server - everything lives in IndexedDB right on your machine.
Solve first, edit after
The preview puts the Original schedule next to the Solved one, and you Apply or Discard. Hard rules never break quietly. Soft rules get a score you can see, and if a schedule can't work, it tells you exactly what's clashing and what to loosen.
How it's built
The solver is a real HiGHS MILP, compiled to WebAssembly and run in a Web Worker. The app is TypeScript, React 19, Vite, and Tailwind v4. It's one app, not a platform.
