i'm a full-stack engineer and i've been doing this for 10+ years. i started out freelancing back in march 2013, then went full-time in 2016. i write TypeScript across the whole stack - Vue and Nuxt are my home base on the front, and i do React and Next too. on the back end it's Node.js - Express, NestJS, and Hono - with PostgreSQL and GraphQL.

i care about the product, not just my tickets. i'd rather make the whole thing better than close a task and call it a day.

i spent four years at WegoPro, a B2B corporate travel and expense platform, then went out on my own. now i run my own stuff: i made Crewdoku, i lead the infra for Sankit.vn, and i freelance on an AI dashboard for a small company.

the product comes first. architecture, code review, features - all of it serves the product, not the queue.

architecture

• modular monolith at WegoPro - i designed it, the team adopted it, and i owned technical direction and best practices.
• holding that line long-term is what keeps a big codebase healthy. someone has to keep saying no to shortcuts that break the boundaries.
• full-stack, all the way down. i design the data model and the APIs from scratch, not just the screens - Node.js services (Express, NestJS, Hono), PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and indexes, REST, RPC, and GraphQL endpoints.
• end to end. requirements → data model → API → UI → tests → release → production support. i'd rather own the whole path than hand off at the edges.

mentoring and review

• BlockDevs: ran onboarding, mentoring, code review, and technical interviews for hiring.
• WegoPro: mentored teammates on Vue 3 patterns.
• i'd rather raise the whole team through review than code on my own.

migrations

i've run big production migrations without stopping delivery:

• WegoPro: led Nuxt 2 → Nuxt 4, with Vue 3 web components as a bridge, and moved the back-office dashboard to Nuxt 4 + Nuxt UI on my own.
• Multiplier.finance: took the front end from Vue 2 class syntax to the Vue 3 composition API.
• Motorist: led the platform move to Nuxt 2.

same idea every time: make the old stack modern while releases keep going. how i do it:

• count the codebase, not the framework. the framework upgrade is a weekend of release notes. the codebase upgrade is a year of running two versions on one page.
• keep shipping. do it bit by bit - no big rewrite, no scary 2am flag-flip.
• bridge, don't rewrite. new features ship in Vue 3 as custom elements (defineCustomElement), dropped into the still-running Nuxt 2 host. the host owns layout, nav, and login. the island owns its data, state, and DOM. they talk through DOM attributes and CustomEvents.
• follow the natural seams. let each person pick, per screen, Vue 3 or Vue 2. the migration order ends up matching the shape of the app.
• plan the deletes early. a delete week with one owner per old module, so nothing gets stuck half-migrated.
• write it down. one person holds the architecture line and logs every migrated part: what moved, what stayed, the sharp edges.

testing

• practical, not dogmatic.
• shipped Jest, Cypress, and Vitest in production.
• i test what's worth protecting, not a coverage number - tests first or after depends on the job.

tools

• terminal: Ghostty, Fish, Lazygit.
• agentic coding: Oh My Pi.
• project management: Notion, Linear, Jira.
• design: Figma, Figjam, tldraw.
• notes: Obsidian.

opinions

• TypeScript first - my main language, not really up for debate.
• Vue is home - most of my career is Vue 2 and 3, Nuxt 2 through 4. but i've shipped production React too, and i grab whatever fits the team.
• learning Go right now.
• Tailwind or SCSS - shipped both, don't pick fights over it.

1. senior web developerWegoPro (formerly Travelstop)mar 2022 – apr 2026

   B2B SaaS for corporate travel and expense, full-time and remote. i designed the modular monolith the whole team used, and moved a big Nuxt 2 / Vue 2 codebase to Vue 3 + Vite with a Strangler Fig approach - no downtime, no feature freeze. i ran the back-office platform on my own from start to finish, all the way down to the self-managed AWS serverless infra it runs on. i built the Node.js APIs and PostgreSQL schemas behind it, integrated Stripe billing, auth, and the complex multi-step forms that come with them, and shipped the transactional email and i18n pipeline that goes out in every locale we support. i set the engineering standards, led code reviews, handled production incidents, and mentored the devs.

2. lead web developerBlockDevsjun 2019 – jan 2022

   fintech platforms, full-time in HCMC. i led the team and owned the delivery of Multiplier.finance and SuperLauncher across backend, frontend, data, and integrations. i built Node.js/Express services, REST and RPC APIs, auth and sessions, PostgreSQL schemas and queries, GraphQL indexing services, and shared Docker setup. i led the Vue 2 to Vue 3 move, brought in TypeScript and Vite, and ran technical interviews and code reviews.

3. web developerMotorist.sgdec 2017 – jun 2019

   car services marketplace, full-time in HCMC. i led the move of the customer platform to server-rendered Nuxt 2, which made pages load faster and rank better in search. i built the marketing site and the back-office platform, including dynamic metadata, structured data, and sitemap generation.

4. web developerLetterinkmar 2016 – dec 2017

   digital agency, full-time in HCMC. i built and looked after client sites and the company site with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and WordPress - cross-browser support, on-page SEO, and analytics tags.

crewdoku, 2026

an offline-first app for one person: a planner builds and runs one company's multi-week team schedule. you describe the team and who needs to be covered, hit Generate, and get a fair schedule that follows the rules. tweak it by hand and export to CSV. no accounts, no server - it all lives in IndexedDB right on your machine. live at crewdoku.8bu.dev.

solve first, edit after - the preview puts Original next to Solved, and you Apply or Discard. hard rules never break quietly. soft rules get a score you can see, and if a schedule can't work, it tells you exactly what's clashing and what to loosen. the solver is a real HiGHS MILP, compiled to WebAssembly and run in a Web Worker. TypeScript, React 19, Vite, Tailwind v4. one app, not a platform.

cosimi, 2026

the retrieval engine behind the chat on this page. it's deterministic GraphRAG with no LLM in the request path: your question gets embedded, a vector search starts from the nearest chunks and pairs, then the engine walks the graph for context, ranks it, and answers. same question, same data, same answer - every time.

i built it fullstack - Postgres with pgvector for retrieval, a build-time Claude pipeline that writes and checks the corpus, and a Hono API on a Cloudflare Worker at the edge, running on self-hosted Postgres. shipped as a set of @cosimi/* packages on npm. code: github.com/8bu/cosimi.

wegopro, 2022–2026

a B2B corporate travel and expense platform - book flights and hotels, apply travel policy, run approvals, and sort out expenses in one place. used to be called Travelstop. i was there four years, fully remote, as senior web developer and acting lead. wegopro.com

i led the move off a four-year-old Nuxt 2 codebase without stopping releases, using Vue 3 web components as a bridge, and moved the back-office dashboard to Nuxt 4 + Nuxt UI on my own. i shipped recent bookings, policy-change flags, hierarchy approvals, custom fields, and the onboarding flow.

multiplier.finance, 2019–2022

a multi-chain DeFi lending protocol, AAVE-style - a real money app, so a UI bug isn't about looks, it's about funds. i was the front-end lead during my BlockDevs years.

i moved the front end from Vue 2 class syntax to the Vue 3 composition API, built and owned the core lending and borrowing flows start to finish, and kept a live DeFi app stable.

superlauncher, 2020–2022

an on-chain IDO launchpad with staking and a marketplace. i was a core front-end person from day zero at BlockDevs, and helped take it from an empty repo to a live platform.

i built the front-end architecture from scratch and set the conventions the team followed, wrote a custom Vue 3 wallet module on top of WalletConnect, Web3.js, and Ethers.js, and shipped the IDO launch flows, staking, and the marketplace UI. the wallet module hit real WalletConnect bugs, so i fixed them upstream and sent the patches back.

ntwrx, beta

a Web3 community for creators and brands - it connects influencers with brands to run social campaigns, then rewards engagement on-chain. it's in beta, and i worked on it as designer and web developer. ntwrx.com

campaign discovery, cross-platform engagement tracking pulled from Instagram and X, token rewards paid in $NTWRX, a quest-creation studio for brands, and the on-chain wiring. built with Nuxt, Vue 3, and Tailwind on top of the Ethereum contracts.

figma résumé template, 2026

a clean résumé, CV, and cover-letter template i designed and put on the Figma Community. it's all auto layout - add or remove a role, a bullet, or a whole section, and everything lines back up on its own.

i wanted my own CV to be dead easy to keep current, so i made a system instead of a one-off file. copy it and edit however you want: figma community.
